Meet Mick, Kate and their 2 boys Thomas and Bentley aboard Meraki a Stan Huntingford Explorer 45. An Aussie/Canadian family who dreamed of living life differently and took the leap into sailing life during COVID and have never looked back. Having sailed from beautiful BC, Canada down to Mexico and the next big leap will be the Pacific Ocean in Spring 2023. They've had had a lifelong dream to sail the world and are currently in the Caribbean with big plans to transit the Panama Canal very soon! While the original goal was to be visiting anchorages together, life had different plans. With one boat being purchased in the Pacific NorthWest and the other acquired in the Caribbean we've been waiting out Hurricane season in separate Oceans.. but the reunion is going to be OH, SO, SWEET!
