Rolex Yacht-Master II Review: The Rolex I'd Buy Over a Daytona (116680)

The Rolex Yacht-Master II may be one of the most misunderstood watches in Rolex's modern catalog. Overshadowed by the Daytona, GMT-Master II, and Submariner, the Yacht-Master II often gets dismissed because of its large size, bold styling, and niche sailing origins. But after spending time with the stainless steel reference 116680, I think collectors may be overlooking one of the most technically impressive watches Rolex has ever produced. In this review, I take a closer look at the prior-generation Rolex Yacht-Master II and explain why it deserves more attention from enthusiasts.
