#7 Chinatown-Thin Lizzy-Drum Cover

I grew up listening to Thin Lizzy thanks to my Dad. Brian Downey is a hero of his AND mine. Brian’s feel, his swing and his inventiveness with drum parts are a huge part of Lizzy’s sound. Phil Lynott and Brian were an amazing rhythm section. Tight and fluid at the same time. Chinatown (awesome guitars and riffs but mainly because of the drums) has always been up there as one of the greatest, balls out, Lizzy songs. I am still unhappy I was too young to ever see them live but so proud that they came from the same country as me. They were proud to be Irish & flew the flag for us all. True rock n’ roll legends.
