EAST LANCASHIRE RAILWAY IN 1988 1988 AUTUMN DIESEL GALA FILMED ON 1st OCTOBER 1988 Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of ELR taken on 01/10/1988. It was my first visit to this wonderful timepiece of a railway and it happened to be the ELR's Diesel gala for that autumn which proved very popular and still does to this day. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories.
