Then you not only ruin the food, but it is also time for a rescue: grill master Ralph de Kok comes to the rescue in ‘S.O.S. Barbecue’! Featuring in this episode: the ultimate Philly Cheese Steak. In the YouTube program 'S.O.S. Barbecue’, grill master Ralph de Kok rescues desperate barbecuers and barbecue enthusiasts from their own fires and transforms their BBQ disaster into a masterpiece. In this episode, Kevin is taken in hand. Kevin used to be a butcher by profession and, according to his girlfriend, is an incredibly good barbecuer. However, she is tired of him always choosing a boring factory sauce. She believes that sauce should come from Kevin’s heart, not from a factory. Sauce shouldn't be an afterthought, but the final touch. Kevin’s girlfriend calls on Ralph for help. During the workshop, they will make a gourmet Philly Cheese Steak, where Kevin learns, among other things, how to make a cheese sauce and caramelize it on the plancha. In this episode, Ralph works with the Campingaz ONYX 2 Plancha. It is a tabletop model that can be placed on a trolley. The plancha has a cooking lid, which means the lid acts as an oven and provides indirect heating in addition to direct heating on the griddle. This offers many possibilities: baking, roasting, and grilling. From casseroles and cakes to smaller recipes such as cookies. The Onyx 2 features powerful Blue Flame burners and electric ignition. The meat comes from Inamood, the vegetables from Vershal Boontjes, and the sauces and spices used are from Not Just BBQ. A barbecue is more than just a good piece of meat.
