LB NOW: The Long Beach Junior Lifeguard Facility Grand Opening

On Friday, June 30th, 2023 the City of Long Beach celebrated the opening of the new Junior Lifeguard Facility. The new building will offer students training in rescue techniques, CPR, first aid, ocean sports and marine ecology. Some of the new amenities include a kitchen, office space, bathrooms, lockers and a stingray treatment room. The Junior Lifeguard Facility is located on East Ocean Blvd and Claremont Pace adjacent to the Claremont Launch Ramp.
