IS LIBERTY LOOKING DOWN AT PEACE? 🦅Justice & Liberty Keep Watch

UPDATE: Shortly after this video was completed, what appeared to be eaglet Peace, was seen back on camera beneath the nest. Dense foliage makes identification difficult, but the sighting offers hope that Peace remains close to the nest tree. Royal Oaks Bald Eagle Nest Information: Location: Vancouver, Washington, USA Adult Eagles: Justice and Liberty. 2026 Eaglets: Harmony and Peace Harmony hatched on March 28, 2026, followed by Peace on March 29, 2026. The Royal Oaks nest has faced a difficult season. Earlier this month, Harmony experienced a series of falls from the nest. Harmony was eventually found on the ground beneath the nest tree and sadly succumbed to injuries on June 7, 2026. Peace became the sole remaining eaglet in the nest and continued to be cared for by Justice and Liberty as fledging season approached. On June 14, Peace fell from the nest and was later observed safe on a lower branch of the nest tree. Throughout the day, both Justice and Liberty remained active in and around the nest. Liberty delivered food, while Justice brought in a stick for what remains of the nest structure. The once enormous nest has deteriorated considerably during the season and is now only a fraction of its former size. Both adults appeared to look downward below the nest. Raising the possibility that the eaglet may still be relatively close by. Perched on a branch in the nest tree. As young eagles begin exploring branches around the nest, they often spend time moving through the tree before eventually returning to the nest platform. Whether Peace will return remains unknown, but for now Justice and Liberty continue to keep watch over the area. Then, shortly after this video was completed, a partially obscured eaglet was seen through the foliage below the nest. While identification is difficult, it could very possibly be Peace. If so, it would be a very encouraging sign that the eaglet remains close to home and may soon make the climb back to her waiting parents. We will continue to follow Peace's progress and provide updates as new information becomes available.
