Gotska Sandöns Nationalpark - Tre dagar på ön med Astrid och Farmor [Vandring, Friluftsliv]

Jens, Astrid and grandma travel by boat to Gotska Sandön National Park for a three days stay. The Gotska Sandön island is one of the Baltic Sea's most desolate islands, and one of Sweden's oldest national parks. There is much to discover and explore here - many hiking trails, strikingly beautiful nature and interesting culture. We go by boat from Nynäshamn, and go ashore with the help of an inflatable boat at Varvsbukten. We live in Fyrbyn, and do several hikes around the island. Among other things, to the Old Farm, and down to S:t Anna peak. We also visit Gotska Sandön's lighthouse (the northern lighthouse), and the museum. ---------------------------------- [Chapter] 0:00 Introduction 0:55 Day 1 - Hike to the campsite 06:01 Bredsandslingan 07:51 Day 2 - The chapel loop 11:30 Old Farm 16:36 St. Anna Udde 18:48 Visit to the lighthouse and the Homeland Museum 20:44 Day 3 - journey home 21:27 Gotska Sandön's chapel 24:05 The High Hill hike 25:11 Swiming and boat ride home ---------------------------------- More information about Gotska Sandön National Park: www.sverigesnationalparker.se Information about travel and accommodation: Sandöresor, www.sandoresor.se
