How to create a ‘Foley Footsteps’ Kontakt library

Email me: [email protected] How to create a footsteps Kontakt library: Start by recording 40 footsteps - 20 for walking and 20 for running. Edited them into 40 samples, one for each footstep. Open the Kontakt plugin and double click to create a new instrument, and click on the settings button. Open 10 new groups and delete the first one - one for each pair of footsteps walking, and running.. Name them. Disable “Edit all group” and enable “Selected group only”. Drag your first 4 samples inside the mapping editor - 2 walking, and 2 running. Make sure you drop it when your mouse is hovering the bottom part of the grid. Open the Wave Editor, choose one of the samples, and click on “Loop start”, and then go to this dropdown menu and choose “one shot”. Do this with each sample. Do this with all groups, choosing the next pair of samples each time. Make sure you drop the samples on the same notes Every time. At this point you should have 10 groups, with 2 foot steps samples of each kind (walking and running) on each group. Activate “edit all groups” and change the “group start options” to “cycle round robin. Deselect “edit all groups”. Go to the second group, and change the “Position in round robin chain” to 2, then go to the third group, change it to 3 and do this with all the remaining groups. ------------ DM me your questions.
