Building in Sub Zero Temps & Snowstorms | Remote Homesteading in Alaska
This week on the homestead we are preparing for some new additions! A neighbor gave us a run-in barn that Dennis took apart, hauled out in the snow, and rebuilt next to the cabin. We got buried in snow, but that didn't stop us from finishing the project of rebuilding! We also stocked the pantry with a new batch of Fermented Garlic Honey and cooked up some homemade food over a fire while we worked to keep warm! Thank you for following our life on the Last Frontier! -Dennis, Amy & Lena Filmed at our cabin on the fringes of the wilderness HOMESTEAD RECIPES Fermented Garlic Honey -5-6 bulbs high quality garlic -2-3 C high quality raw organic honey Sterilize a pint mason jar.
