Common Skate - Oban special - Boat

In this video I travel north to Oban with Darren and Luke Mckell in search of "giant" Common Skate. The road trip went without a hitch and we made good time in light traffic and perfect weather. A couple of pit stops and a photo opportunity at a local beauty spot and we were in Oban. The weather on the day started with Scottish liquid sunshine which soon burnt off and turned to blazing heat, from waterproofs to t-shirts. Another amazing trip on the Laura Dawn II and time spent with my favourite skipper Leigh Taylor.
