Genesis - Live in Brussels - September 16th, 1982

Genesis Venue: Vorst Nationaal Location: Brussels, Belgium Date: September 16th, 1982 Audience recording Audio Quality: B+/B Thumbnail photos taken by Marc Willemsen The final performance of the non-UK, European leg of the Encore tour. This crowd ranks as one of the best I've ever heard, comparable to the two Rome showings from this tour. An immense amount of love and passion is shown for just about every track in the set, and as typical for this tour, Supper's Ready has everybody losing it. Phil's voice can sound pretty tired tonight, and he often struggles with his upper range, but overall he does a good enough job, and has the audience eating out of his hand. Tonight's jam spot to The Lamb is the last one to be really drawn out, as starting on the UK leg, the band would tone down the length of them - it happens to be one of the best out there, too. The middle spot of I Know What I Like is also the first of its kind to feature this 'country' sort of style of jamming, which they would continue to toy around with for the remainder of the tour. This upload is using a complete copy of the AUD. All previous copies of this show were actually using Stockholm for In the Cage onwards, so this is the first time the public can actually hear this full performance.
