Organisation Design in Focus – Episode 2

Designing Organisations for Continuous Change: Strategy, Structure, and Adaptation in Motion Julian Chender is Founder and Principal Consultant at 11A Collaborative, a New York-based B Corp consultancy that helps social impact organisations redesign how they operate to better deliver on their mission. His work focuses on organisation design, operating models, governance, scaling, and organisational transformation across nonprofits, philanthropy, government, and mission-driven organisations. Previously, Julian worked within Accenture’s Operating Model & Organization Design practice following the Kates Kesler acquisition. Julian also serves on the Organization Design Forum’s Advisory Board and contributes actively to the global OD community through teaching, writing, and professional dialogue. In this session of Organisation Design in Focus, Julian will explore how organisations can build structures, processes, and ways of working that support continuous adaptation in increasingly complex and fast-changing environments. Organisations today are increasingly required to adapt while continuing to operate, deliver services, and respond to shifting external conditions. This session explores how organisation design can help organisations build the structures, governance, decision-making, and ways of working needed to support continuous change and long-term effectiveness. Drawing on experience across social impact organisations, consulting, and organisation design practice, the discussion will examine how leaders can align strategy, structure, and organisational capability while balancing adaptability, coordination, and human sustainability in complex environments. See you there!
