It also hosts the annual Pasir Gudang International Kite Festival since 1995 In December 2018, Malaysia had wanted Singapore to withdraw its plan to implement the Instrument Landing System (ILS) or change the flight route to Seletar Airport via Pasir Gudang Pasir Gudang port would encounter higher risks due to the height that Singapore wants to set for the airport’s ILS.
