Welcome back to Yukon's Board & Train journey at Best Paw Forward Dog Training! 🐾 Yukon is wrapping up Week 1 of his Board & Train program, and today's session focused on building the foundation for everything that comes next. We worked on attention on the handler, basic obedience, place, and reinforcing four on the floor (no jumping) throughout the entire training session. Before dogs can succeed in more challenging environments, they need to understand how to focus on their handler and make good choices. Yukon is learning that staying engaged with his trainer, responding to basic commands, settling on place, and keeping all four paws on the ground leads to success.
