To make the effects of the sports ECU more easily felt, the intake and exhaust systems were completely stock, yet the torque increased across the entire RPM range, making it feel like a completely different engine. Low RPMs were easier to handle, and yet, when you pressed the accelerator, you could enjoy sharp acceleration.
