BEST FREE CAMP IN CENTRAL QUEENSLAND - EAST COAST AUSTRALIA ROAD TRIP - OVERLANDING AUSTRALIA 4WD

Do we find the "Best Free Camp in Central Queensland"? Well, we think we did. Join us for Part Four of our overlanding road trip along the East Coast of Australia from Brisbane to Mackay by 4WD as we leave one free camp and find the "Best Free Camp in Central Queensland" After being woken by the cockatoos, we hit the dirt before stopping for morning tea at Duaringa before exploring the town and stopping at the Duaringa Hotel for a beer. From there, it was north on the dirt until we found a great spot for lunch on the banks of the Fitzroy River. An afternoon on the dirt saw us finally hit the bitumen when we joined Marlborough Road and continued north-west for about 40km before finishing at the "Best Free Camp in Central Queensland" under the shade of the paperbarks on the Isaac River.
