⚠️ ÓVALO MORÓN TERMINADO: Nueva conexión Ramiro Prialé y Carretera Central

Sunday, June 28, 2026. I passed through the new Morón roundabout, which is now finished here in the Lurigancho-Chosica district. I started my journey heading from Lima towards Chosica. From the aerial view, you can much better appreciate how this new roundabout turned out and the traffic flow at this intersection. As you can see, the roads are completely paved, and the horizontal and vertical signage has also been painted. In addition, metal guardrails have been installed along the perimeter. This infrastructure is designed to divert traffic and extend the Ramiro Prialé expressway to the Los Ángeles bridge on the Central Highway. Now, the Ramiro Prialé expressway can connect with the Central Highway in Chaclacayo in a more organized way. The opening of this project is key for East Lima, since the Morón bridge, along with this roundabout, addresses a long-standing demand in the area. The main benefit is that it helps organize the flow of traffic connecting to the main highway, facilitating turns and access for thousands of residents of Carapongo, Ñaña, and Chaclacayo, allowing continuous transit between both banks of the Rímac River.
