🔴 CLAUSURAN GRIFO TOKIO en CARRETERA CENTRAL y avances del CERRO CANDELA

Sunday, June 28, 2026. Taking advantage of my return home, I made a short recording of the progress on the Cerro Candela project and the expansion of the Carretera Central highway in the Ate district. The main road, running west to east, as well as the auxiliary road, are now completely paved. Likewise, all the horizontal road markings have been painted, the central median barriers have been painted, and a new strip dedicated to grass and green areas can also be seen. An imposing, dark green, high-voltage metal pole has been installed, which was just being put up on my previous visit. Due to its great height, essential to guarantee the safety distance from the houses, it can already be seen that the electrical wiring is fully installed at the top to connect to the Cerro Candela network. Underground, some drainage pipes have been connected, achieving a proper connection between manholes. The Cerro Candela retaining wall is completely finished. It can also be seen that metal safety railings have been installed in a section of the upper part of the site, as well as on the new access stairs for residents. According to the information shared, the Cerro Candela cut is expected to be inaugurated at the end of this month. At this point, an open trench can be seen where some utility pipes are exposed, as part of the work being carried out in the area. Osinergmin has imposed a total closure order on the Tokio gas station, as indicated by the official red signs posted on the pumps. This administrative action, in effect since June 24, 2016, was applied under Article 86 of Supreme Decree 019-97-EM due to the obstruction of public access. Well, that's all for today's quick tour.
