Although not widely known to the general public, it is a representative hidden gem of Jinan, beloved by hiking enthusiasts and those seeking hidden mountains thanks to its outstanding scenery and deep valleys. ■ The Stunning Baegun-dong Valley and Strange Rock Formations Baegun-dong Valley, flowing between Seongaksan and Deoktaesan, creates breathtaking scenery where strange rock formations and lush primeval forests harmonize at every bend. It is highly popular as a cool summer retreat, and due to the exceptional beauty of the valley, it attracts many visitors throughout all four seasons. You can also encounter magnificent waterfalls such as Yongoreum Falls (Jeomjeon Falls). - The unique rock formations of Tugubong Peak are known as mysterious rocks that change dynamically depending on the viewing angle, representing the horns of an immortal being. ■ Diverse Natural Scenery by Season In spring, azaleas, rhododendrons, and Erythronium flowers bloom profusely, painting the entire mountain red and creating a spectacular sight. It is also a bountiful mountain where various wild herbs, such as bear's garlic, maple leaf garlic, and bracken, grow naturally. In summer, the dense forests and Baegundong Valley offer a refreshing coolness, making it a truly excellent place to escape the heat. In autumn, it is a great place for healing amidst beautiful autumn foliage. In winter, due to the region's heavy snowfall, colorful snow blossoms and hoarfrost bloom along every ridge, presenting a fantastic snowy landscape. ■ Panoramic Views in All Directions Once you climb the ridges and reach the summit, refreshing panoramic views unfold in all directions.
