Calm and relaxing video of one of the most distant beaches of Scottish Mainland. Located on Kyle of Tongue, shallow see loch in the middle of the northern coast. This beach changes its shape rapidly depending on the tidal conditions, and with a really low tide you can cross to the Rabbit Island (which obviously can backfire and you can get stranded there until next really low tide.). The water seems to be quite calm, but the current can be quite strong in this location, so take care while swimming. Views from the beach are magnificent - open ocean to north, causeway and Ben Hope to south and Ben Loyal to East. It is another mandatory stop on NC500, however I don't think it is appreciated as much as it should be. There is small crofting village over the beach with shop, post office and small car park with benches.
