Today, I'm excited to share with you the process of fitting my new hair system from LaVivid. But before we get started, I need to remove my old system, the Nicholas. I have to say, it's been my favorite system so far by a mile. I absolutely love the Nicholas, and I strongly recommend this Men's Hairpiece to anyone looking for a great fit. So, let's begin by taking off the old system from the back to the front. Remember, this is the safest way to remove it to avoid putting tension on the hair at the front. I gently apply some glue solvent to my scalp and rub it in, enjoying the incredible feeling of being able to rub my scalp after having the hair system on for so long. Next, I need to shave down my patch. I use two mirrors for this process – one for the front, which is easier to see, and a hand mirror for the back. Shaving the back can be tricky because your hand moves in the opposite direction of what you see in the mirror, but with some patience, it gets done. Now, it's time to tape up the new system. I start by applying one long strip of tape along the edge, cutting it at an angle, and then adding smaller pieces, overlapping them around the perimeter. Once the tape is in place, I mark up my head by raising my eyebrows to reveal the top wrinkle, where I like the system to lay. Carefully, I position the system according to the marks and press it into place, removing the tape from the back as I go. The system was pre-cut by La Vivid, but I may need to make some minor adjustments to ensure it blends seamlessly with my hair. After adding some leave-in hair conditioner, the final look is complete.
