This is the system I received just last week, a full lace system that I showcased in a previous video. Today, I'm diving into the application process to give you a glimpse into my normal routine. First things first, let's talk about preparation. Since I already have some natural hair in the front, I simply shave the area where I know the system will be placed. No need for a mold at this stage. I use my natural hair as a guide, leaving a little extra at the front to ensure a seamless blend. Using a mirror to keep an eye on the back of my head, I carefully shave the area, following the natural line. With the area cleaned and prepped, it's time to position the system. I make sure to leave a little extra overhang at the front, just in case I want to make adjustments later. Checking the placement in the mirror, I ensure everything sits perfectly before moving on to the next step. Now, it's time to secure the system in place. I prefer using tape for this lace system, but you can use glue if you prefer. I start by applying tape along the sides, ensuring everything is snug and secure. Remember, it's essential to do the front and back separately to avoid any mishaps. Once the tape is in place, I carefully remove the backing and gently set the system onto my scalp. With half of the system securely in place, I brush and comb to ensure a smooth and seamless fit before moving on to the back. Applying tape to the back can be a bit trickier, especially without assistance, but with a little patience and a mirror, it's manageable. I carefully place the tape along the back, making sure everything lays flat and secure. With the tape applied and the system in place, it's time for the final step – the haircut. Using a combination of scissors and clippers, I trim and shape the hair to achieve the desired look. It's a process that requires precision, but the end result is well worth it.
