The Pi Cast (3/25) The Psion 5MX Raspberry Pi Conversion Project
In the 1990s, Psion's range of personal organizers were the pinnacle of portable computing. Running on Arm CPUs, and sporting a great operating system, power users got things done with a Psion. Mike Horne is a big fan of the Psion, and is working on a version that has a Raspberry Pi at its heart. We are joined by Kian Ryan who created a sidecar project, powered by Raspberry Pi, which enabled the Psion to become a serial terminal for a Raspberry Pi. Ryan is an expert in all things Psion! We'll be geeking out and talking about Pi-powered Psion projects, and putting out heads together to see what we can create using our favorite SBC, and portable computer.
