Today we're off on a well-known route along the canal, which we're going to give a modern twist to. It's a moderate route of about 8 km round trip, departing from the beautiful village of El Pino. Then, we'll continue upward, encountering a few springs, such as the La Salud spring at the beginning, and always accompanied by the Pino River. The trail is always very wide and well-maintained, with some somewhat steep inclines, but always with some flat areas where we can catch our breath. Once we reach Las Foces, we will discover a magical place full of life, where the spectacle and the star are the Rio Pino, which delights us with breathtaking views. After seeing one of the wonders of Asturias, we continue up a poorly marked path in search of a viewpoint. The Foces del Pino viewpoint, which, despite our efforts and searching numerous trails, we were unable to find the way to. We did, however, send the drone to find it and were able to see spectacular views from the heights of the same long-awaited viewpoint we had been searching for for some time. Finally, I would like to tell you that in the village of El Pino, you can find plenty of parking, but be careful in summer, as it gets crowded. I hope you like it.
