Subida al OJO DE BUEY hasta la CIMA DEL PEÑA MEA

In this video, I show you the iconic OJO DE BUEY (Bull's Eye) on the way to the summit of PEÑA MEA in Asturias. It's one of the best routes you can take in Asturias for its scenic beauty and its relatively optimal location for amateur mountaineers. Ojo de Buey (Bull's Eye) is located in the Peña Mea massif in central Asturias, at approximately 1,557 meters above sea level, offering spectacular views from its summit. Ojo de Buey (Bull's Eye) presents a steep slope ascending through the Collada de Pelúgano and along the west face to the famous arch. There is another, more "light" alternative, starting from the village of Pelúgano de Arriba and climbing to Ojo de Buey on the other side of the mountain. The two trails then join at Ojo de Buey (Bull's Eye) to ascend Peña Mea. START OF THE ROUTE: In the small village of LES CAMPES -Distance: Approximately 9 km (THE ROUTE IS CIRCULAR) -Duration: Approximately 5 to 6 hours (at a leisurely pace) -Vertical gradient: Approximately 700 m (you'll need help with some steep sections) -Difficulty: Moderate due to the steep slope, and on sunny days like mine, it's quite tiring haha IMPORTANT: Always check the weather forecast before hiking and, above all, take care of the natural habitat.
