Bethesda's Creation Engine Problem Isn't What You Think
Bethesda's Creation Engine is a hot topic. The first version of the engine was used for Skyrim, the Creation Engine 2 was used for Starfield, and now Todd Howard and co are wheeling out the Creation Engine 3 for The Elder Scrolls 6. While I don't agree with the cries that the Creation Engine should be abandoned in favour of a third-party option, like Unreal Engine 5, that doesn't mean there isn't a Creation Engine problem. It's just not what most people think it is. 00:00 - 01:32: Intro 01:33 - 06:34: A Very Rough History Of The Creation Engine 06:35 - 16:37: The Problem With The Creation Engine 3 16:38 - 21:34: Oblivion Remastered And Unreal Engine 5 21:35 - 33:21: Why Bethesda Should And Will Use The Creation Engine 33:22 - 34:02: Outro 34:03 - 35:07: Dusk On Anvil Harbour #oblivionremastered #oblivion #skyrim #elderscrolls #videoessay #elderscrollsonline #bethesda #skyrimmods
