De Lisboa Oriente a Évora - Rear cab ride

In this video, Nó Ferroviário invites you to join the journey aboard Intercidades 594, bound for the historic city of Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. Filmed from the rear coach, we bid farewell to Lisbon with a privileged view of the Águas Livres Aqueduct, cross the impressive 25 de Abril Bridge, and salute Christ the King, as we leave the vast metropolitan area behind. After passing Pinhal Novo station, the train gathers pace and, across the wide plains of the Alentejo, accelerates to 200 km/h, cutting through a calm landscape bathed in the soft light of a December morning. Along the way, we pass several CP and Fertagus electric suburban units, an Alfa Pendular travelling from Faro to Porto, other Intercidades services, and a Medway freight train.
