Il borgo, situato a 10 km di distanza da Centuripe, nacque nel 1631 in un piccolo appezzamento di terreno, ma un primo insediamento risale già al 1061. Oggi abbandonato, un luogo dove il tempo si è fermato. La prima domenica del mese il piccolo borgo si rianima per via di un mercato rurale. Today it is abandoned, it is a place where time has stopped. On the first Sunday of the month the small town comes to life again because of a rural market.
