In this sermon from our 9am Sunday service, Sarah Frost reflects on Jesus as the bringer of peace: the peace foretold by the prophets, promised in the Gospels, and developed in the teaching of Paul. Beginning with the many ways we understand peace - quietness, reconciliation, the absence of conflict, and peace within ourselves - Sarah explores the deeper peace offered through faith in Christ. Drawing on Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Luke, John, Philippians, Romans and Colossians, the sermon invites us to consider what it means to be both at peace ourselves and called to be peacemakers in the world.
