The Suzuki S-Cross confirms its status as a 4.30-meter compact SUV that focuses entirely on practicality, positioning itself as one of the most rational and attractive offerings on the current market. Based on a "down-to-earth" philosophy, the car eschews unnecessary technological frills to focus on Japanese reliability and lightweight construction: weighing just 1,300 kg, the S-Cross offers a natural, sincere, and enjoyable ride, despite a setup geared toward family comfort and a relaxed pace. At the heart of the system is the 1.4-liter 48V Turbo Boosterjet Mild Hybrid engine with 110 hp, which, combined with AllGrip all-wheel drive and a torque converter automatic transmission, ensures a flexible response and fairly low fuel consumption, averaging over 16 km/l. Inside, the cabin excels in spaciousness, offering rear passenger legroom worthy of higher segments and a modular trunk that holds up to 400 liters. Despite some conservative choices, such as the analog instrumentation and the use of incandescent bulbs for the secondary lights, the package is complete with everything you need, including standard ADAS and wireless smartphone integration. The real selling point, however, remains the price: thanks to Suzuki incentives and scrapping, the entry price has dropped from around €29,000 to €24,000, making it, in terms of features and build quality, a true bargain.
