Mannequin Head DIY! Sculpting a Head with Paper Mache

Find out how you can make a mannequin head with paper mache. You need: a plastic bottle and cup (this is the inner support). Mask tape, old newspapers, wood glue. And homemade paper mache clay for which here is the recipe: Soak a roll of toilet paper (unroll it first) in warm water. Pull it apart as much as you can to make a loose pulp. Squeeze the water. Pull apart to break the lumps and add little salt, 2-3 spoonfuls of corn flour and mix.Add 3-4 large spoonfuls of wood glue and 2 spoonfuls of wood filler putty. Knead everything together until it looks like dough. I have to say that I don't measure exact amounts, sorry for that. It sticks perfectly on the raw paper mache. When it's dry it is very hard. If there is any leftover clay you can store it in an airtight bag in the fridge for other projects. This elegant mannequin head can very well be used as a prop or as decoration. Enjoy!
