100 Day to Halloween Begins with a Vintage Cat Mask DIY

Want to make your own giant vintage style Halloween cat mask? In this video, Ketturah shows you how to build a nostalgic black cat headpiece using budget friendly and beginner friendly papier-mâché techniques. This oversized mask is inspired by classic Halloween imagery from the 1920 - 1940s, and it’s made almost entirely out of recycled materials like paper bags, newspaper, cardboard, and a beach ball. Whether you’re crafting for a costume, a Halloween party, or just want a statement decoration that screams spooky season, this DIY project is a great place to start! Patrick and I have been brewing up all kinds of Halloween projects this year, and we can’t wait to share what’s next.
