This statement was written regarding that matter of legal interpretation, in order to teach a lesson to those who overstep their bounds. بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ I'm sorry, I'm sorry مِنْهُمْ لَعَلِمَهُ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَنْبِطُونَهُ مِنْهُمْ (“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. But if they had consulted the Prophet and those among the believers who are qualified to make judgments, then those among them who are qualified to make judgments would have known the truth.” Surah An-Nisa: 83.) The door of Ijtihad (independent reasoning) is open. However, there are six obstacles to entering it at this time. … I will explain a situation that happened to me, which will shed some light on the previous issue. It is as follows: Once it occurred to me: Why can't extraordinary figures like Muhyiddin-i Arabi reach the level of the Companions? Then, while reciting "Subhan Rabbila A'la" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, free from all imperfections) during prayer, the meaning of this phrase unfolded, not completely, but a part of its truth became apparent. I thought to myself, "If only I could achieve this level of understanding in just one prayer, it would be better than a year of worship." After the prayer, I understood that this thought and state were a guidance indicating that one cannot reach the level of worship of the Companions. Yes, in that great social revolution brought about by the illumination of the Holy Quran, as opposites separate from one another, evils confront each other with all their consequences, darkness, and details, while good and perfection confront each other with all their light and results. In such a state, at such an exciting time, every act of remembrance and glorification expresses all the layers of its meaning in a fresh, vibrant, and youthful manner. The great revolution awakens all the feelings and spiritual subtleties of the people under its tumultuous influence; even feelings like imagination, fantasy, and secrets become alert and vigilant, absorbing and absorbing the multiple meanings in those acts of remembrance and glorification according to their own sensibilities. Therefore, based on this wisdom, when the Companions, whose senses were fully awakened and whose subtle faculties were alert, uttered the blessed words encompassing the lights of faith and praise, they spoke them with their full meaning and absorbed them with all their subtle faculties. However, after that explosion and transformation, the subtle faculties gradually fell asleep and the senses became heedless regarding those truths, and those blessed words, like fruits, gradually lost their subtlety and freshness under the veil of familiarity. They almost withered away in the air of superficiality, leaving only a little moisture, which can only be restored to its former state through a powerful, contemplative operation. This is why someone else can only attain the virtue and rank that one Companion gained in forty minutes, even in forty days or forty years. THIRD...
