Exploring Mount Charleston for the BEST Camping Spots

This week we do some recon around the Mt Charleston area in search for the BEST (free, dry/dispersed, boondocking) camping spots in the area! There are a ton of Forrest Service roads in the Mount Charleston area and after staring at maps and images of the terrain, seeing different roads that veer off the main roads, I decided it was time to get out and explore! I'm sure this list is NOT everything (there are a lot) but I hope this provides you with some future destinations in mind for your next camping trip! It is pretty cold out right now (as of Jan 2020) BUT these spots will be perfect in the HOT summer months when Vegas gets to 100+ degres and you need a break! Especially as you get up in elevation, it gets much cooler up there so these are going to be perfect to escape the heat!
