Mount Charleston - Cathedral Rock Hike

This weekend we explore the mountains! Mount Charleston is about a 45 minute drive from Las Vegas NV where the weather is 30 degrees COOLER and the elevation is killer. It was an awesome break from the heat and a sweet change in scenery (GREEN TREES). With our dog Rio, we ascend 1500 ft from a 7500 ft elevation starting point to our final 8500 ft in elevation at the top of Cathedral Rock.
