MAJOR SHIPPING CANAL STARTS TO FREEZE OVER

The Welland Canal, emerging from Lock 6, the Algoma Niagara cuts a decisive path through the ice pack, her steel hull parting the ice like a blade. On this video, I will show you a somewhat cinematic drone video of Algoma Niagara transiting from lock 6 to lock 7. From there we then get to watch the steel giant exit lock 7 and pass me by, close up shots of the Algoma Niagara going through the canal ice as she heads upbound on the canal to Lake Erie and from there it's down to Sarnia and then onto Thunder Bay. This will be the last time we see Algoma Niagara until the new season starts up in Spring.
