Uplifting Tour at Marienhospital Hamburg, Germany

This elevator tour has the full load of 24 elevators to offer! Five elevators without inner doors are within. Enjoy! Apart from the new main building, all of the elevators in this hospital are delivered by Schindler. The oldest elevator is from 1978, the newest Schindler is from 2004. Various 80's and 90's Schindlers are inbetween. The new elevators are four generic Hütter ones. All of the elevators without inner doors in this hospital are locked off. Two of them can be called but you need a key if you want to open the swing doors. Two other elevators are completely restricted and you need a key for both calling the elevator and for the swing doors. And one of the elevators only has the call station locked, but it parks on a restricted floor when not in use, so you can't get in it if you don't have a key. Unfortunately Schindler installed alot of generics and these are not a good type of generic elevator (yes, something like that also does exist!). They are rather unefficient, move very slow and take ages to switch between modes (eg. from lift full stop - doors opening). Dear hospital management, Schindler offers faster elevators than these. Okay, I've seen you ordered new Hütter elevators. That was a good decision.
