The Premier Inn Wiesbaden City Centre is a modern, mid-range hotel located in the heart of Wiesbaden, the capital of the German state of Hesse. Designed to offer comfortable and affordable accommodation, the hotel caters to both business and leisure travellers. It sits within easy walking distance of many of the city’s main attractions, including the Kurhaus, Wilhelmstraße, and Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof, making it an ideal base for exploring the city or attending local events. The video review opens with exterior footage of the hotel, highlighting its contemporary design and convenient location near shops, restaurants, and public transport links. The entrance area is bright and welcoming, featuring the familiar Premier Inn purple branding and modern signage. Inside, the reception area is open-plan, with a self-check-in kiosk and a 24-hour staffed front desk offering assistance in both German and English. A walk-through of the guest rooms showcases their modern and practical design. Rooms feature the signature Hypnos beds, known for their comfort, along with crisp white linens, blackout curtains, and efficient soundproofing—important in a city-centre location. Each room includes amenities such as a flat-screen TV, desk area, tea and coffee-making facilities, air conditioning, and a well-equipped en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The décor combines neutral tones with accents of purple and light wood finishes, maintaining the consistent Premier Inn aesthetic seen across its European properties. Unfortunately despite the positive opening of the film, my conclusions are that I would not stop at this hotel again. The drain in the bathroom smelled really badly, the plug on my bathroom sink stuck in the sink and I couldn't get it out and the air-conditioning was terrible meaning my room was just far too hot. I reported these things to reception but nothing was done about it. I guess the next time I stay in wiesbaden that it will be at the InterCity or Motel One. I don't like giving negative reviews, but this hotel ended up being a let-down.
