This is our maiden voyage with the 2023 Jeep Gladiator and Patriot Campers X3 trailer and we decided to go deep into the Anza Borrego desert to explore some areas and points of interest we have never visited. We traveled many miles deep into the heart of the desert on some easy and technical terrain, found and incredible camp site for the night, cooked up some delicious meals and then made our way to the Split Rock Petryoglyphs where many Kumayaay Native Americans lived. Next we hiked even deeper into the desert to explore the Hapers Cabin and dam that was built nearby.
