They were cast iron back then, not garbage aluminum they are made of now. The above link is for the replacement ball joint. We have the lift block under the strut and on the top of it for the 2.5” of max leveling. The upper control arms we have from rough country have the right angle for that lift. It’s important to get this geometry correct so your tires wear even. You MUST get an alignment after replacing ball joints.
