We flew to Sicily for the holidays, specifically Catania, Italy, in search of sunshine and beautiful weather 🌞. After landing, we debated whether to take the Alibus bus from the airport, and we finally decided on that option. We arrived in the city center and were immediately captivated by the sight of oranges growing on the trees. Walking further, we were shocked at the first sight – narrow sidewalks, cars parked everywhere, and we had to walk with our luggage in the middle of the street! We reached the famous square in the center, where we met some friends, and then headed to our apartment. Along the way, the streets looked uninviting – they weren't very clean and a bit scary to walk on 😅, but the city's atmosphere made up for it. Upon reaching the apartment, we couldn't get in – the owner only spoke Italian! Fortunately, after a few attempts, we managed to get the keys. We're showing you our apartment and the refreshments, which later turned out to be... well, not quite what we expected 😅. In the evening, we set out to explore the city and tried our first Italian pizza and lasagna 🍕🍝. How much did we pay for it? Was it a lot? Was it worth it?
