This powerful mountain in Northern California is considered one of the most spiritually charged places on the planet. It's a place known for strange paranormal activity and even UFO sightings and extra-terrestrial contact. People say Mt. Shasta is a “vortex,” a portal to alternate dimensions and higher consciousness. But one of the most interesting stories about Mt. Shasta is that it's known to be the Root Chakra of the Earth. The Chakra System is an energetic map of the body, rooted in ancient yogic traditions. There are said to be seven chakras, or energy centers, running from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. And each chakra governs different parts of our lives and our energy… everything from money, to expression, to love, to our connection with the cosmos. Based on ley lines, which are basically invisible energetic pathways believed to connect sacred sites around the world, the Earth has its own Chakra System. The 7 Chakras of the Earth idea was first popularized by researcher Robert Coon who mapped the seven major Earth chakras by studying sacred sites, ley lines, and the planet’s subtle energy system. In this episode, Ryker and I explore the town of Mt. Shasta, learning from the people who have been living there and experiencing its enchantment. We go on a special vision quest with a guide named Dan, who takes us to various vortex points on the mountain to see if we can open some portals. And throughout this video, we also learn more about the Root Chakra and what it represents, while investigating the lore and mysticism around Mt Shasta.
