Down For Vegas: Meet Our Technical Rescue Team & Our Deputy City Marshals

We have a bit of a public safety theme for this July edition of Down For Vegas. First off, we ride along with our new and improved Multi-Agency Outreach Resource Engagement (M.O.R.E) Team as they work to help our homeless community in Las Vegas. Then, we introduce you to all of the different squads and police teams our Department of Public Safety's Deputy City Marshals have to offer. From police to the fire department, we introduce you to the team that's going to make the most daring rescues in town, our Las Vegas Fire & Rescue's Technical Rescue Team. With Monsoon Season being in full swing in Las Vegas, this is a busy time of year for the Technical Rescue Team as the need for swift water rescues goes up. We team up with the National Weather Service to learn about the weather dangers the summer months bring here in Las Vegas. Finally, to wrap things up, we stop by a beloved downtown Las Vegas arts district business, Cornish Pasty to learn how this 700-year-old recipe is made.
