Worklife balance in Singapore after a burnout

I recently returned to work after a career break and I came back with a different perspective on work, ambition, and what a meaningful life looks like. Before my break, I spent two intense years helping a startup expand into APAC. My life became very narrow: work and the gym. There was no energy left for family, community, or health. Eventually, I burned out. I stepped away and spent time in Taiwan focusing on spirituality and upskilling. Now that I am back, I have one rule: I never want my life to be consumed by work again. Many working professionals are quietly struggling with the same thing, long hours, constant pressure, and very little space to live fully.
