Lady Alcina Dimitrescu was a countess and the matriarch of the Dimitrescu family. Originally from an Eastern European country, she inherited Dimitrescu Castle, a fortress controlled by the family since its medieval beginnings. For at least seventy years between the 1950s and 2020, she was linked to a series of violent homicides. Alcina Dimitrescu was the final heir to Dimitrescu Castle, a medieval fortress looming over an unnamed mountain village in Eastern Europe, and was born with a hereditary blood disease passed down to her by her ancestors. Sometime before or during the 1950s, Alcina came into contact with Mother Miranda, a mysterious woman worshipped by the locals as a dark, deific figure, who infected her with a parasitic bioweapon called Cadou. This parasite granted Dimitrescu superhuman healing, strength, and longevity, preventing her from aging beyond 44, indicating that she was born sometime in the early 20th century.
