Many of the vacant lots and houses in front of the station have the name of a mysterious organization called the Kitano Hosenkai written on them. Signs that look like they were erected not long ago are also installed on buildings in prime locations in front of the station, creating an eerie atmosphere. Furthermore, while the surrounding area is being elevated, there are no plans to do so for this station.
