Rex Tremendae from Requiem for a Broken Family, by Carolina Paschalides. This is one movement from my new composition: Requiem for a Broken Family, a contemporary setting of the Latin Requiem Mass that explores loss, memory and healing. Text: Rex tremendae maiestatis, qui salvandos salvas gratis, salva me, fons pietatis. Translation: "King of awe-inspiring majesty, who freely saves those who are to be saved, save me, O fountain of mercy."
