An original SATB a cappella anthem by Carolina Paschalides, woven from fragments and motifs of J. S. Bach. In memory of someone who suddenly left us in April 2026, far too soon. The opening uses the melody of Schlummert ein, while the closing section presents it with Bach's original instrumental harmonisation. Throughout the work, additional Bach-inspired motifs emerge and dissolve within layered contrapuntal lines, forming suspensions and clusters.
