Professor Gopal Chandra Khan: Professor (Dr.) Gopal Chandra Khan was born on 19 May, 1943 in the district of Bankura, West Bengal India. He completed his IA (1961) and BA (1963) from Bankura Christian College and then became Post Graduate in Philosophy from the University of Burdwan, West Bengal. He was awarded his Ph.D degree by the University of Burdwan in 1981. He started his career in the higher education field as a lecturer of Philosophy at Bankura Christian College in 1966 and continued up to 1968. Then he joined in the Department of Philosophy, Guwahati University and served there from 1968 to 1970. Then he joined as a lecturer of Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Burdwan in 1973 and retired as a Professor from the same in 2007. He researched on Classical Greek and studying Philosophy from 1976-1978 in Athens. Many students have completed their Ph.D degree under his supervision. He was a visiting professor at the University of Calcutta from 2007 to 2018. He became the Nalinikanta Brahma Chair Professor of Philosophy at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira in 2009-10 session. Interviewer: Maj. (Dr.) Arup Kumar Dhabal Arup Kumar Dhabal was born in 1973 at Banshi, a hamlet of Bankura District, West Bengal. He did his PG degree in philosophy from BU and Ph.D. from C. U. He is now serving Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur Math, Howrah as an Associate Professor. It is worth mentioning that he is an Associate NCC Officer of Vidyamandira. Major Dhabal has been enjoying this administrative post since 2003 beside his keen academic interest. ............................
